Refund & Cancellation Policy

General Rule: Hesappo Premium is a digital service with instant access. As a rule, refunds are not available after activation. Technical issues and exceptional cases are described below.
1. About This Policy
This policy applies to subscriptions purchased through Lemon Squeezy, who acts as the Merchant of Record for international payments. Lemon Squeezy handles billing, VAT/sales tax, and subscription management.

2. Digital Service & Right of Withdrawal
Hesappo Premium is a digital subscription delivered immediately upon purchase. By completing your purchase, you agree that the service begins right away and you waive any statutory right of withdrawal that would otherwise apply to undelivered digital goods (including the 14-day cooling-off period under EU consumer law).
For this reason, once Premium features are activated on your account, the payment is not refundable as a general rule.
3. Subscription Billing & Cancellation
Hesappo Premium on Lemon Squeezy is a recurring subscription. Monthly plans renew every month; yearly plans renew every 12 months. Your subscription continues until you cancel it.
You can cancel anytime through your customer portal — the link is included in every receipt email and at sanemworks.com/subscription. Once cancelled, your subscription remains active until the end of the period you have already paid for, and is not renewed afterwards.
Cancellation stops future billing. It does not refund the current period.
4. Exception: Technical Issues
If your payment was successful but Premium features were not activated on your account, this is a technical issue and we will fix it.
What to do:
- Keep your Lemon Squeezy order confirmation (order ID or receipt email)
- Email info@hesappo.com with the details
- Your account will be activated manually within 1 business day
If the issue cannot be resolved within 24 hours, a full refund may be considered. Requests must be submitted within 7 days of the payment date.
5. Exception: Accidental Renewal
If your subscription renewed and you contact us within 48 hours of the renewal charge, without having used Premium features during the new billing period, we will review the request and may issue a refund at our discretion.
6. Plan Changes
To change your plan or request a downgrade, email info@hesappo.com. Each case is reviewed individually; partial refunds based on unused time may be considered.
7. Refunds Will Not Be Issued For
- Change of mind after using Premium features
- Misunderstanding of how the app works — please contact support before purchase if you have questions
- Account closure due to a violation of our Terms of Service
- Mismatched email between payment and Hesappo account (we will help match it manually instead — see section 4)
8. Service Discontinuation
If Hesappo is shut down entirely, active Premium subscribers will receive a prorated refund for the remaining time on their plan. We will notify you at least 30 days in advance via the email registered to your account.
9. What Premium Includes
Hesappo Premium gives you access to all features listed on hesappo.com/pricing: unlimited groups and members, WhatsApp expense summaries, Excel and PDF export, expense photo attachments, shopping lists, and priority support. 10. FAQ
I paid but Premium isn't active. What now?
Email info@hesappo.com with your Lemon Squeezy order ID or receipt. Your account will be activated manually within 1 business day.
I used the wrong email when paying.
Send us your Lemon Squeezy receipt and the correct email of your Hesappo account at info@hesappo.com. We'll match them manually.
Does my subscription renew automatically?
Yes. Monthly subscriptions renew every month, yearly subscriptions renew every 12 months. You can cancel anytime through your customer portal.
Where do I see invoices and manage my subscription?
Every Lemon Squeezy receipt email contains a "Manage subscription" link. From there you can update your payment method, download invoices, or cancel.
Who charges my card?
Lemon Squeezy acts as the Merchant of Record for international Hesappo purchases. Your statement will show "Lemon Squeezy" or "LEMONSQUEEZY*HESAPPO."
